This is a short Picatinny rail designed exclusively for the Steyr AUG A3 M1 platform and is not compatible with older AUG A3 A2, A1, or USR receivers. Installation requires removing the existing rail with a 4mm hex head tool and some force, as it is secured with blue thread locker and requires no heat. The rail provides a standard 11-slot Picatinny interface for mounting optics and accessories.
