The Weatherby 307 Alpine MDT is a bolt-action rifle chambered in 7mm Backcountry with a 16" threaded barrel and 1-in-8" twist rate. Built on the new Model 307 2-lug action with an MDT HNT26 magnesium/carbon fiber chassis, it features a TriggerTech trigger, Rem 700 compatible design, and accepts AICS pattern magazines. This ultralight rifle weighs 6.5 lbs and has an overall length of 28" with a 5/8x24 muzzle thread pattern.
