The one-piece steel base features a matte black finish and measures 9.1" in length, allowing the rear ring to be secured by windage adjustment screws so the scope's internal adjustments can be reserved for precise sight-in. Shims can be used for gross elevation adjustment, preserving the scope's elevation adjustment for bullet drop compensation dial applications.
