The Marlin 1895 SBL is a lever-action rifle chambered in .45-70 Government with a 19" cold hammer-forged stainless steel threaded barrel and 6-round tubular magazine capacity. It features a polished stainless steel receiver, gray laminate stock with fixed configuration, fiber optic front sight with tritium ring, adjustable ghost-ring rear aperture, and a full-length Picatinny rail for optics mounting. The big-loop finger lever design allows rapid cycling, and the rifle is drilled and tapped for scope mounting.
