This bullet comparator insert is designed for use with the Hornady Lock-N-Load Bullet Comparator system to measure bullet overall length from the base to the ogive. It eliminates measurement variables caused by material variation and tip finish differences, allowing reloaders to monitor consistency to within a few thousandths of an inch. Compatible with .17 caliber bullets.
