This crush washer is a muzzle device accessory designed for AR-15 platforms chambered in .223/5.56 NATO. It is installed at the muzzle end of the barrel to aid in timing and alignment of muzzle brakes and flash hiders. The crush washer helps achieve proper indexing of muzzle devices on standard 1/2x28 threaded barrels.
