The FN 509 Compact MRD is a 9mm striker-fired semi-automatic pistol with a 3.7" barrel and 15+1 capacity. It features FN's patented Low-Profile Optics Mounting System for compatibility with miniature red dot optics, ambidextrous controls, and a polymer frame with interchangeable backstraps. The pistol includes a serrated slide, Picatinny rail, and comes with both 12rd and 15rd magazines.
